Fire Emblem is a RPG tactics series that has spanned over many different console generations. This was the seventh episode of the JustRPG.com Podcast where we talked about our favorite video game osts, our favorite RPG types, RPG story lines, the most overrated RPGs, pre-ordering RPGs, and MMORPGs.
We started our first segment by talking about our favorite RPG OSTs. James brought up games such as those in the Zelda franchise and Final Fantasy. Victoria laid down some knowledge of video game music composers, which was one of her biggest interests.
This was the sixth episode of the weekly JustRPG Podcast where we talked about what RPGs would make good TV shows, the last games we were hyped for, love interests in RPGs, and our favorite controllers for playing RPGs.
We started off the podcast with the question: What RPGs would make good TV shows? This discussion brought up some previously aired shows such as the Zelda and Mario TV shows from way back when. We then suggested that a potential show would have to be derived from a well known and popular IP. We then also realized that making the show animated would also keep it closer to the original source material, which would thought would be appreciated by fans. This finally led to the conclusion that Fire Emblem would be a great choice. This IP is becoming very popular in the United States and has been very popular in Japan for quite a while. Nintendo has also hinted at a mobile game based on Fire Emblem. This led us to believe that it was the perfect choice for a new TV show.
