Overview

The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Overview

Shivering Isles is the largest official expansion to the hit open-ended, sandbox RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. First released on the XBox Live Marketplace, a PC and PlayStation 3 soon followed. While the gameplay in Shivering Isles is nearly identical to that found in the original, the expansion does add a whole new world to explore. The main story is lengthy, but only part of the overall experience. There are plenty of side-quests and other discoveries to be made along the way. The two main areas include Mania and Dentia which each have their own art style. Players must stop the Prince of Order, Jyggalag, from destroying the Shivering Isles. Fans of the series will find much to like in this full-feature expansion.
