Fallout II Overview
Fallout 2 is set in the same world as Fallout 1 – Earth after a nuclear apocalypse. The surface is one huge desert, full of gangs, mutants, and large amounts of radiation. People live in cities that are full of dust and trash, in buildings that are barely standing. Violence, murder and prostitution abound. It’s not a pretty world.

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel Overview
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel takes place on a post-apocalyptic earth, where civilization has shattered, and raiders and mutants rule the wastelands. You are a member of the Brotherhood of Steel, the unofficial peacekeeping force of the wasteland, and it’s your job to fight back and restore some level of peace before all is lost. Unfortunately, the story takes a back seat to the hack-and-slash gameplay in Brotherhood of Steel, which is extremely sad because many RPG fans have fond memories of the story in Fallout.

Since that day Final Fantasy VII was first announced, it became clear that the US wasn’t getting the whole story with Final Fantasy. While the intervening years cleared the matter up and saw the release of two of the missing games, Final Fantasy III was still nowhere to be seen. That is, until a full-blown remake, complete with updated plot and graphics as-yet unheard of on the DS, was announced. But now that it’s here, was it worth the nearly 15 year wait?

Final Fantasy 8 Overview
Final Fantasy games have it pretty tough. They’re often compared to other Final Fantasy games, which isn’t an easy task for any game. A lot of fans, including me to some extent, found VIII a bit of a disappointment, but it’s by no means a bad game. It’s probably the most innovative of all the Final Fantasy games, and it’s so different that it’s likely going to take some getting used to.
