Nindies Summer Jam: Nintendo Summer Sale Update

Nintendo has done us yet another favor and added a significant number of games to their Nintendo Summer Savings sale! This time around it is taking the form of the Nindies Summer Jam which is adding a long list of indie games that are making their way to Nintendo platforms for the first time. Some of these you may already be familiar with such as Gurumin, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, and Steam World Heist. These releases, just like the regular summer sale, are being put out on the Nintendo 3DS, and the Nintendo Wii U, which is a welcomed addition for Wii U fans who may be running out of games to play due to the lack of releases overall for the system. What makes this even better is that the first week that these games are available they will be an additional 10% off the listing price! We are pretty excited about a few of these such as Stardew Valley, and Gurumin 3D, but take a look at the full list of these new additions, and the official Nintendo released trailer, and let us know what you are going to get in the comment section below.

Final Fantasy XV English Voice Actors Introduced

Final Fantasy XV is proving to be one of year’s biggest game releases. The sheer production value of this amazing looking game must be catastrophic. From its hyper realistic visuals, to the sheer size of the game, and now to the newly announced English voice actors for the game is supporting this assumption. The chosen English cast for this game is made up of many veterans who have had experience in other games, as well as on T.V. and other media platforms.

Persona 5: The Expected First Quarter JRPG Powerhouse

There are some video game series that has grown into legendary franchises that have their fans eagerly waiting for the next game in the series to come out. One of those such series is the ever more popular Persona series, and with the next installment, Persona 5, on the way we thought we would delve deep into the previews for this game and give you the complete low-down.

For those who are not aware, which I assume is very few of you, the Persona series is a JRPG legend that combines traditional dungeon crawling turn based combat with out of combat social features, and they are developed by the JRPG kings, Atlas. In these games your characters have “personas,” which are manifestations of that character in god or demon-like forms. These personas are images of that character’s inner self that come to life and are used to attack your enemies in combat. What makes these games truly unique is that when you are out of combat you perform typical daily activities just like any high school student in Japan would do. This means that you go to school, join sports clubs, meet your friends for ramen, and even study. These daily tasks help you to build relationships with your peers, which in turn power up your personas. These features make these games more immersive and keep you playing “just for one more day.”
