The game lets you control two main characters, Ghost, and Niobe, and sports about an hour of unique footage not seen in the movies. The game operates with a third person view which helps simulate the characters awareness of their surroundings like they have in the movies. The combat system is pretty fun and the extra footage is pretty cool but the game was obviously rushed and thus was unfinished.

DragonBall Z: Budokai is a partial 3D fighting game that was released for the Sony Playstaion 2 in 2002. Players can take on the role of their favorite hero or villain from the show and fight in a standard 2D/3D environment. All the characters in the game have the same moves that they display in the show and have pretty accurate voice actors as well. While this game is pretty fun the balance is completely off and some characters just do twice the damage compared to others. That being said if you are a fan of the anime and manga series you will probably enjoy this game, otherwise stay away.
