Back to Stone is one of the biggest RPGs ever made for a system like Gameboy Advance. With over 15 hours of material and tons of monsters and environments, it takes handheld RPG to a new level. Unfortunately Back to Stone has quite a few drawbacks. With an entertaining story unfolding over various environments and leading into numerous puzzles this RPG attempts to go where none have gone before.

Avernum 3 is a story about an underworld named Avernum. The Avernites, or the inhabitants of Avernum, have been sending a few chosen people above to the light to explore. Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny does not deliver anything out of the ordinary, but it is nonetheless a successful sequel. This addition to the series features improved graphics and much less glitch prone gameplay. With an extended storyline, new items, and minor improvements Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny is good fixer-upper follow up for its predecessor.

Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana Overview
A rich storyline and deep gameplay make Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana an enjoyable RPG. Unfortunately audio/visual glitches take away from the games appeal, but there is definitely a whole bunch of fun to be had while adventuring through the virtual world. Players can spend as much time as they would like searching for recipes and rare items on their quest to complete this wonderful title.

Arx Fatalis Overview
Sans a few minor flaws, Arx Fatalis is a great success and delivers a wonderful playing experience. This adventure RPG gives the player plenty of options, and allows the gamer to solve problems and complete puzzles however they may choose. This open ended approach is a breathe of fresh air from most RPGs, and many will be happy to hear that Arx Fatalis keeps up the good work all the way until the very end.

Full of simple puzzles, repetitive conflicts, and childish sexual innuendos Ar tonelico: Melody of Elemia is quite an interesting RPG. The title contains all the elements of an RPG necessary for a great game, however they are all oversimplified to the point where the term “game” fails to apply. Without much challenge this title becomes more of a children’s book than a game.
