Europa 1400 Overview
Europa 1400 is a simulation role playing game that puts the player in the shoes of an European settler who is looking to build a business dynasty. The player can choose one of many professions such as backer or blacksmith. The player can also run for local government which adds another layer to the game play. Overall the game is pretty fun and exciting and is a great addition to any players simulator library.

Endless Ages Overview
Endless Ages is a massively multiplayer online first person shooter game that sports many role playing elements. The game’s background concept is very interesting and starts when your character dies. In the game universe when every being in the universe dies they go to one of Jupiter’s moons where they spend their after life. The game supports four playable races, Amphibian, Female, Male, and Bloblic, all which have different racial abilities. Although the game premise is pretty interesting the visuals are poor and the game play is lack luster.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Overview
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is an adventure role playing game with a large open world and an open ended story line. There are tons of character customization options to utilize, many zones to explore, and a million different ways to play the game. The main story line is engaging and the player can choose when to do it or when to go off on a string of side quests. The game also supports player made mods which extend the game time and allows you to play the way you want to play. The game was well thought out and the amount of sheer content in the game is enormous. That being said there are a few bugs present in the game such as objects or monsters floating over the game landscape, and there is no multiplayer supported.

Elder Scrolls IV: Knights of the Nine is an expansion pack for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. This expansion pack includes a new story line as well all downloadable content that was released up to the point this pack was sold. The story line included in this pack seamless joins your Oblivion game. It involves rumors of an attack on the Church in Anvil, when the player investigates they learn about an evil king, Umaril, who has returned from banishment and wants revenge against the gods of the land. Overall the story line is pretty short but it is engaging and well worth the price of the pack. That combined with all previous downloadable content surely makes this game worth a buy for any fan of Oblivion.

Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon is the second expansion for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. At first it was only released for the PC but it was later included in the complete collection for Xbox.

Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon Overview
Elder Scrolls III: Bloodmoon is an action adventure role playing game that was originally released for the PC in early 2003. This expansion included new monsters, new playable zones, and werewolves as a playable race. The main story line involves werewolves attacking a town and then the player is introduced to the bloodmoon ritual. The player then goes on a quest to complete the ritual and bring order to the land. Overall the expansion offers more content but the same combat system and the same overall game.

Players can choose their own adventure with plenty of quest lines to explore and areas to conquer. The player can also switch views from first person to third person at will which allows the gamer to be comfortable in any situation. Overall Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is a very exciting and fun role playing game, and maybe the best single player role playing game of it’s time. The only possible complaint for this game would be now the graphics are pretty dated.

Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna Overview
Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna is a role playing game for the PC that is played in the same style as the previous Dungeon Siege games. This installment in the series has a new story and new areas which breathes new life into this series. The story still takes places in Aranna and the player still takes on the role of a farmer who is seeking some excitement in their life in the form of an adventure. The hero journeys through different areas in search of the Staff of Stars, which is a powerful item that can decide the fate of the world. The game sports a fun combat system, but has no replayability, and it gets repetitive pretty fast.

Devil Whiskey Overview
Devil Whiskey is an old school style pen and paper role playing game that was released for the PC in the middle of 2004. This game may look extremely old to your average gamer, but to fans of pen and paper style roleplay this game is a real gem that shouldn’t be overlooked. Players can choose from many races and classes and set out on their own adventure to battle classic monsters such as orcs and goblins. Although this is an amazing RPG for those who enjoy the style gamers of pretty much every other type will probably not like this game at all.

Asheron’s Call is a fantasy massively multiplayer role playing game for the PC and was released during the time of Ultima Online and Everquest. Set in a Fantasy universe Asheron’s Call included six playable races and set the standard for future online games of this genre.

Asheron’s Call Overview
Asheron’s Call was one of the first major massively multiplayer online role playing games to be released. It was set in a fantasy universe that was uniquely created by the game developers. With never before seen monsters such as the insect like Olthoi this game opted out of using the standard monsters such as goblins and elves. Asheron’s Call also had revolutionary mechanics such as the fact that every player’s level was invisible to everyone else and no separate zones for dungeons or special areas. Although very dated by today’s standard, Asheron’s Call set the bar for many fantasy themed role playing games that we see today.
