Grandia Xtreme

Grandia Xtreme shares many of the features of previous Grandia titles, but is more of a spinoff than a sequel. The game is far more combat focused, and more of a dungeon crawler than traditional RPG. The visuals and music is great, but the story and character development aren’t as flashed out.

Grandia Xtreme Overview

Grandia Xtreme is a spin-off of the main Grandia games, but still retains the key gameplay features of the series. There’s less emphasis put on the story and character development, and much more on battles. Grandia Xtreme is still a RPG, but more of a grindy, dungeon crawler style RPG than a traditional plot-heavy J-RPG. Grandia Xtreme was the first game in the franchise designed exclusively for the PlayStation 2. The game boasts nice visuals and a solid soundtrack.
